Easter

Seriously, it's just another excuse to eat chocolate. ;)

So, Easter is all about egg hunts, jelly beans, chocolate eggs and bunnys and the Easter Bunny of course.
You may wonder why we associate all these things with Easter, well I have a theory.
Eggs and egg hunts are a huge part of Easter, because Easter is in Spring and and that is when chicks are born. Everyone knows that chicks are born from eggs. Jelly beans are associated with Easter probably because they are colorful just like the flowers that bloom around that time.
And last but not least the Easter Bunny, because baby bunnys are born around Easter time.
And chocolate?
It's just another excuse to eat chocolate. ;)

Romeo and Juliet

Today we went to see a production of Romeo and Juliet live on stage. It was good. There were so many people there and every one seemed to enjoy the show.
I discovered that the key to a good performance is: body language, proper elocution, and emphasis and clarity whilst speaking.
The show was in some parts very funny (when the nurse is looking for Romeo and meats Mercutio) in some parts very tragic (like when Romeo and Juliet committed suicide).
It was all that you would expect from R&J!

Graphic Novels

Okay, graphic novels are usually associated with "nerds" but they are not juuuust for nerds personally I like to read them when I am not in the mood to read an actual book with lots of writing in it. Seriously, I recommend them.
Some of my favorites are:
Bone
Courtney Crumrin
Doctor Who (the graphic novel)
Yeah, that's actually it. I'm sure that I have read more than this, but for the life of me I can't remember.
Anyway...that's all!
Bye and Happy Easter!!!!

Jogging

You know all the commercials about dieting and getting fit and skinny bla bla. But there is a really simple method to loose weight AND not have to deprive your self of food.
It's a little thing called JOGGING. Every day in the morning or afternoon or evening and you will be in shape in no time!  ;)

Cartoons

Yes, they are slightly childish and immature and people are quick to write them off as stupid, but they actually are not that bad. If you look at them from a different way they are quite entertaining. Like: Tom & Jerry, Looney Toons or Betty Boop. Yeah, they're old bla bla bla.
But it is still fun to watch.

Shakespeare

Yeah, I know, the topic in English you never understood. I can hear the groan of displeasure, but before you leave I want to tell you that you don't have to suffer from not understanding and go straight to totally owning it.
How you may ask?
Well, now you can get all kinds of versions of his plays. From manga and graphic novels to the whole text rewritten in modern English. Also you can ask your teacher for help.
If that is not good advice I don't know what it is!
Enjoy!

Stuff

This blog is titled Entertainment and STUFF. So I will be talking about...well...stuff. So this time I will be talking about: Macaroons! Yey!
They come from France I believe which only adds to the class of the already fabulous food. It's a desert and in my opinion the best ever. Next to Tiramisù!
Yeah I love elaborate deserts but is it my fault that it is so good? That's a rhetorical question by-the-way.
Now I want to hear your opinion on what your favorite desert is.
Write it in the comments!
Thanks!

My favorite book

My favorite book is the Edge Chronicles series. The original series has three trilogies, making it nine books altogether. There are also several other books that add on to the original story.
The authors are Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell. The artwork is amazing and it is draw by Chris Riddell.
I recommend it, because the story and characters are very unique.
I recommend it to everyone who likes fantasy and adventure novels with a bit of comedy thrown in.

Doctor Who

I wanted to know what your favorite movie is.
So please write a comment and tell me.

Moving right along to day two of this blog of mine. Now, I will be covering my favorite TV show: Doctor Who. I have only ever seen the eleventh doctor and the regeneration from the tenth to the eleventh, yet it is still a great show.
The show first aired in 1963 with the first episode: An unearthly child. Since then there have been 800 episodes with 97 episodes missing. There have been 11 Doctors and the current Doctor the 12th.

First Doctor was: William Hartnell (1963-1966).
Second Doctor: Patrick Throughton (1966-1969)
Third Doctor: Jon Pertwee (1970-1974)
Fourth Doctor: Tom Baker (1974-1981)
Fifth Doctor: Peter Davison (1981-1984)
Sixth Doctor: Colin Baker (1984-1986)
Seventh Doctor: Sylvester McCoy (1987-1989)
Eighth Doctor: Paul McGann (1996)
Ninth Doctor: Christopher Eccelston (2005)
Tenth Doctor: David Tennant (2005-2010)
Eleventh Doctor: Matt Smith (2010-2013)
Twelfth Doctor: Peter Capaldi (2013-)

The Doctor regenerates every so often, which means his  physical appearance changes.
He flies around in a blue box known as the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space). The TARDIS is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.
The Doctor also does not save planet Earth from alien invasions alone. He has friends known as Companions assisting him. Just like the Doctor their personalities vary from /companion to Companion.
The most famous ones are:
Sarah Jane Smith
K-9
Adric
Peri Brown
Ace
Rose Tyler
Donna Noble
Martha Jones
Amy Pond
Rory Williams
River Song
Clara Oswyn Oswald

Okay, my favorite Doctor was the eleventh. I really like the way is kind of a time and space Jack Sparrow. His trade mark is a red bow tie and a fez.
