Birthdays

We all celebrate them but for every one a Birthday is something different. For some people it is something exciting and for someone else it is just a big drag. The best part about Birthdays is that you can get cake or cup-cakes.
Some friends in high school will decorate your locker, but if you have friends that don't care about you much, they won't decorate it.

Anyway, a whole day all about YOU!!!! All day long you get presents, eat cake, hang out with friends and or family, get special treatment  and have a generally good time. If you know people that live a while off, you will be receiving presents throughout the whole month! Which is not that bad actually...
Please don't get me wrong here, I am positive that you all hopefully know what a Birthday is, but I just had to write about this, since Birthdays are a type of entertainment. Besides what would "Entertainment and Stuff" be without the...well...ENTERTAINMENT!?!?!?

Generations and Music

So, on Saturday (May 10, 2014) at the Community Center there was this concert of fifties and sixties music, like Elvis Presley and the Beatles. As you can imagine most of the people there were older than fifty years old...Anyway, they were dancing like they had never danced before and, needles to say, I was so lost. Okay, no you might be thinking: who does she think she is, shooting down retro music? Well, Surprise, Surprise I'm not. Some music was really good, like "Love Potion Number 9". But really it's not my style. I really like music that has an interesting sound to it.
Anyway, back to where we started from. Those old people really dance better than some people today! And they are all 50+...enough said!
